A Little Friend

We had a very friendly box turtle hang out with us for a while.  Once he decided we weren't going to eat him, he came out of his shell and didn't go back in.  We had some funny reactions from the animals.  Henry was super excited and sniffed him a lot, and Fredda was like,

 "Oh, hello.  Wait, what?"  She did a total double take.  It was really cute.

Meet Arclo the Crawdad.  The newest member of the gang.  I saved him from the cook pot, and now he is my pet.  (His full name is Arclo's left toe.)

Spring is here!!

 

Our bluebird couple layed their first clutch of eggs this year!!  We are still waiting for the Eastern Pheobe couple to lay some of their cute little white eggs.  I will post a picture once they do.
